Every weekday, we provide two visits to a Veteran who feels lonely while his children work. He is healthy with the exception of some short-term memory loss and being . We take him to lunch, go for a walk, take flowers to his wife's grave or whatever activity brightens his day. He loves pie so there are frequent trips for the coffee shop.

Twice a day, we go into a home of an 103 year old to help her with making a meal, remind her of her medications, clean up, do the laundry, bring in the paper so she can work on the crosswords, and go grocery shopping. Every week we take her to the hairdresser so she can look her best.

Three times a week we go into a home of a man who has suffered a stroke. We assist him with showering, dressing, provide fresh snacks and ensure meals are prepared for the day. We provide light house keeping and good conversation. He provides great stories of places that he has traveled while captain of a ship.
